ALL CINCINNATI MUSEUM

A learning center and exhibition of the history of Cincinnati.

A museum located in Inwood Park in Cincinnati, Ohio was designed after extensive research on the artifacts based in Cincinnati that were
required to be exhibited, the site, and precedent projects.

Beginning with the design of the small vitrine, I became aware of the importance of not only
the artifact but what exhibits the artifact. From the vitrine, the design of a small exhibit of several artifacts was prescribed. After the study of the
small exhibit, the design of a museum containing 80 x-large, large, medium, and small artifacts. The structure was to interact with the site,
respect the neighboring buildings, and house a 140-foot by 40-foot ship called the Showboat Majestic.
After the wind direction, temperature, and noise of the site were analyzed, the orientation of the building was determined to have the main
facade facing North West.

The building was sunk into the sight to allow appropriate views while respecting the residential complex to the south. To
sustain the park as much as possible, an underground tunnel and parking were construed to allow for proper circulation through the site with
regard to the existing site.
